Exceptional Chippendale Period Carved and Giltwood Triple Plate Overmantle Mirror, the cresting with a central open foliate cartouche surmounted by an acanthus leaf issuing garlands of leaves and flowerheads; the plates divided by engaged reticulated columns with foliate capitals; the frame with exuberant pierced and leaf carved "C" & "S" scrolls, rockwork, flowerheads and floral tendrils. English circa 1755
