Very Fine Set of twelve George III mahogany dining chiars made by James Dyer, comprising two armchairs and ten side chairs each with a fluted tablet toprail above a pierced splat and over-upholstered seat, on turned tapering fluted legs, one armchair with later arms converted from an original side chair from the set. English c.1795, Provenance: Private Collection, London; Norman Adams, London.
A very smart set of six George III mahogany side chairs, having x-form back splats, slip seats and squared tapering legs with h-form stretchers. English, c. 1790
A set of ten polychrome decorated beechwood dining chairs having a caned scrolled table toprail above turned stiles joined by a bar, the armchairs with downswept arms, above a caned seat and squab cushion, on turned tapering legs. Nine chairs George III by Gillows, having a copy of the original invoice, and one side chair of later date . The set comprising of two open armchairs and eight side chairs. English, c. 1801  Provenance: Supplied by Gillows of Lancaster in June 1801 to Luke, 2nd Baron Clonbrock for Clonbrock, Ahascragh. Ballinaslo, County Galway.
