Rare William & Mary period japanned cabinet on chest with original cast gilt brass mounts, decorated with chinoiserie landscapes, birds and butterflies,English or Dutch c. 1690. Provenance: Chateau de Brumare, Normandy, listed in inventory of 1787.
Rare papier mache and japanned sideboard with original grey flecked marble top, three mahogany lined frieze drawers, a central arched opening with shelf flanked by two cupboard doors with ormolu dragon hinges and escutcheons, with overall chinoiserie decoration. A rare English glazed chinoiserie decorated japanned vitrine cabinet on stand. The door frames and mullions decorated with an overall diaper pattern interspersed with lozenge form panels with gold decoration. c. 1750
William IV antique ormolu mounted rosewood credenza with the original conforming mottled grey marble top with thumb edge moulding, above three cedar lined frieze drawers and three cupboard doors with diamond pattern brass grills backed with pleated ivory shantung silk, each enclosing a shelf. English c.1840
Rare Queen Anne japanned wardrobe cabinet with original chinoiserie decoration, having two long cabinet doors with lower false drawer fronts and a single long drawer below. The arched cabinet doors enclose two shelves and an arrangement of nine drawers fitted in the Regency period below. English c.1700
