Rare William & Mary tall back bannister carved and ebonized open armchair, with a pierced cresting over four carved scrolling back splats flanked by block and turned stiles with urn-shaped finials, down swept scrolled arms over serpentine supports, the seat upholstered with several layers of antique silk, over serpentine S-curved legs ending in scrolled feet, joined by ring-turned stretchers. English or Dutch c.1690
Very Fine Set of twelve George III mahogany dining chiars made by James Dyer, comprising two armchairs and ten side chairs each with a fluted tablet toprail above a pierced splat and over-upholstered seat, on turned tapering fluted legs, one armchair with later arms converted from an original side chair from the set. Fine pair of Regency mahogany open armchairs with yoke toprail ending in scrolls above turned spindles with elaborately carved dolphin arm supports and having a slip seat above a crotch veneered scroll apron with paterae to the sides, with front turned fluted tapering legs with ankle collars ending in toupie feet. Fine antique Regency painted faux satinwood triple back settee with finely turned vertical spats centered by rectangular panels decorated with classical figures above downswept arms, squab cusion and an apron decorated with classical swags centered by medallions on four front and four rear turned legs ending in toupie feet.
